My name is Jennifer, but people call me Jenn. Before I get to the fitness stuff I will tell you alittle bit about me.

I am 30 years old and I live in North Carolina. I am happily married to my soulmate and childhood sweetheart of 18 years. Married for 8 of them.

I have two children a boy 11 and a girl 8. I own a 2 year old Pomeranian named Maggie who I love as much as my children. She is spoiled and she knows it.

I am a college student studying to become a physical therapist. When I am not in school or doing homework I am a full time mom and wife.

Some of interests in life are scrapbooking, photography, spending time with my family, cooking, working out, shopping, gardening, hiking, anything outdoors, I am a huge football fan, Indianapolis Colts.

I am really big into fitness and just leading a healthy lifestyle. I was thin up until I had my first child. I struggled to get back to the same weight, but it didn't happen. then I had my daughter and everything just got out of control. I managed to lose 50 pounds back in 2003, but I gained 20 pounds back. I was not happy with myself. I have been slowly getting back to my old habits of healthy eating and fitness. I am a pretty motivated person and I love to motivate others.
Now that I am 30 years old its time to get it over with and lose it all. I don't want to ever be on a diet again or need to lose weight. I can do it I just need to get rid of all that baggage.

I workout a lot and I am proud to say that I am a role model for my kids when it comes to fitness and healthy eating. I hope to be a role model for others as well. I have learned a lot and if I can pass on what I know and my motivation to others I know I have truly done good in the world.

My Goals:
My goal is to make this the last time I need to lose weight. To keep a lifestyle of fitness and nutrition. To be a role model in health and fitness for my children and to motivate others to get fit and healthy

My Program:
I am following a high protein low carb diet. I eat lots of fish and veggies.
I drink 8 glasses of water a day. I limit my red meat intake and I take vitamins to make up for what ever I am not getting from the food I eat.
I workout for at least 60 minutes a day. I am taking one day off a week to rest. I do Tae Bo, Turbo Jam and Leslie Sansones walking program. I am also training in Tae Kwon Do.

    I was just looking through spark=pages of some of the BLC newbies and noticed you are from North Carolina. I'm currently in Durham--how far away are you from Durham?
    I love that you are really into fitness and want to help motivate others in that area. Any interest in helping us promote motivation for fitness on BLC? Let me know...
