I'm 58 and loving life, but not loving what mother nature has done to my poor bod. Everything has repositioned itself and the weight is hard to get off! I'm a total foodaholic and love to eat but need to find the tools to control that bad habit! I want to make some major changes to feel healthier and happier. I'm hoping to make friends that feel just like me so we can encourage each other! Update: I'm now 65 and starting over! I swear, no more yoyo dieting. Update, it’s now 2020, the year from hell! I’m now 67 years old and continue the yo-yo madness. In 2018 I had gotten within 10 pounds of my goal. I felt absolutely fabulous. Don’t ask me what happened, I wouldn’t be able to tell you, but I gained all but 10 pounds back. So here I go again. It’s a never ending struggle and the older I get, and the stiffer I get, it is so dang painful to exercise. I’m gonna keep going, but God if you’re up there, please help me!

My Goals:
To gain control of my eating habits and eat to live, not live to eat.

To accept myself for who I am and quit thinking there is something wrong with me.

To realize that life was not meant to be 24/7 happiness and all of us will have bad days or bad periods in their life.

To quit listening to people who say they wish me well, but truly don't. Taking control can really piss some people off.

To realize that I am stronger than my fear. I don't need medication to become a happy person. I've learned how to do that on my own.

To accept that I will not be perfect and when set-backs happen, get back on the horse and keep going.

To let go of negative resentful people. I can't help them if they are unwilling to help themselves.

To be thankful for everything I have, everything I have achieved, no matter how small and to pat myself on the back for my success'.
