Introduction Text My name is Jeannette. I'm 72, single, and I was my mother's primary caregiver for over 11 years. She died on August 1, 2016 at the age of 95. Alzheimer's. It was a long struggle with the disease. As Nancy Reagan once said, Alzheimer's is a long goodbye.
