    Yeah I wouldn't like to stay on SB if it was low carb full time - I don't like restrictive diets like that. My carbs seem to be about 80-90 at the moment, I think the veggie juice, milk and yoghurt help to bump it up! I'm doing okay on it though and eating regularly which helps! Like you say, once you move onto the later phases this is more about keeping up a healthy lifestyle than being on a diet.

    No no no, I haven't lost all my weight on the South Beach - only on day 3 of it!! I have lost the majority of my weight whilst counting calories. When I first started out I just cut all the crap from my diet and ate a little healthier, then I started counting calories 1200-1500. I have been sort of stuck in a cycle of healthy eating, followed by a couple of days of over eating, so I wanted to try something new and start afresh with a diet plan - The South Beach looked most similar to how I like to eat and doesn't seem too gimmicky! I know it's low carbs at first, but that doesn't last, so I think it will get me back to sensible eating!!
    Anyway, I notice you just joined the team - have you moved into the 2nd phase yet? How did you find phase 1? - so far I really like it, but then it is only day 3!!
