Mom of a precious 2 year old, wife of a sweetheart, and a child of the one true king. Trying to take care of myself a little more...happy and healthy is my goal. My current goal is to lose 15 pounds. Start weight (Jan.): 188 March 1st, 2016 (Began with SparkPeople) = 182 pounds May 12 = 167.4 pounds June 15 = 164 August 6th = 161.4 Sept. 28th = 157 Nov. 19th = 152.2 July 9, 2017 = 153 SLOWLY but surely. June 24, 2018 - 172 - Time to get back on track. I've let too much sneak back up on me :( Pant size: (Jan.) 14 -16 (May) 12/13 (July 8) 12 (Nov. 27) 10-12 (Jan. 9, 2017)8 - 10 (June 24, 2018)10 - 12 My motivations: Feel good. Be kind to myself. Know that I am worth it. Bodies are made to move! Food is for fuel and it tastes really good when it's fresh. Life is precious. I do not want to be a size zero and I do not need to be. That is not natural for ME. But all sizes carry beauty...healthy comes in different forms. I am my own competition - no comparing. God is my strength! Eat to live, don't live to eat. Motivate - yourself and others! OTHER PEOPLE'S SUCCESSES ARE NOT MY FAILURES.

My Program:
Calories counting and support - SparkPeople
Exercise for at least 10 minutes at least 4 days a week
Eat more whole foods and less processed
Drink at least eight 8oz glasses of water a day - more if possible and especially if I work out hard.
Keep within SparkPeople guidelines for Fat, Carbs, and Protein - helps me choose what foods to eat.
Stay persistent and if I fall off for a day - get back on track the next day!
FEEL the difference.
Look at this as a lifestyle - not a diet!

    Hey girl! Its great to here that I am inspiring you!! I got stuck at about 160lbs for about a month, I wanted to give up and I cheated a little but I always logged my food even the cake and beer! Lol! Best advice is no pop or diet pop but water Lots

    Hi Jenn,

    do you eat carbs at every meal? I stopped eating carbs for the most part but will do at least one meal if I am cooking for my kids or hub and they want a pasta or bread. Kashi cereal huh? I might have to try that. Currently my go to breakfasts are either a bowl of cheerios or a scramble egg with some chopped spinach and onion.
