My name is Jennifer and I've spent the better part of my life as a big girl. Unfortunately for me it was in my genes, I was big boned and (ut oh) over 30. With little hope, weighing in at 225 lbs wearing a tight size 22, I decided to join a 12 week weight loss challenge. While I didn't anticipate losing more than 25 lbs, there was a cash jackpot! As a broke stay at home mom, nothing motivated me more than cash! lol Staying dedicated to my decision, I dropped 24 lbs and won $182. WOOHOO! Long story short, in 7.5 months, I miraculously lost 90 lbs and fit into a size 2. Fortunately for me, all of my beliefs were nothing but myths!

Why am I here? Well, let's just say I've accepted the fact that I need to "diet" 6 weeks out of the year. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and 3 kids who's birthdays all fall within 3 weeks of Christmas.... I do a bit of endulging in the winter months. This past winter I managed to eat myself up 18 lbs. NO GOOD! Plus, I'd like to start an exercise regimen. I managed to lose all my weight without exercise and I would like to be fit from the inside out.

I now use my passion to help others achieve their own personal goals. To my surprise, the only thing more rewarding than achieving my own goals is helping others reach theirs! I'd love to help you with any questions or struggles you may have =)

emoticon Just wanted to share ...

There once was a rich man who was near death. He was very grieved because he had worked so hard for his money and he wanted to be able to take it with him to heaven. So he began to pray that he might be able to take some of his wealth with him. An angel hears his plea and appears to him. "Sorry, but you can't take your wealth with you." The man implores the angel to speak to God to see if He might bend the rules. The man continues to pray that his wealth could follow him.

The angel reappears and informs the man that God has decided to allow him to take one suitcase with him. Overjoyed, the man gathers his largest suitcase and fills it with pure gold bars and places it beside his bed. Soon afterward the man dies and shows up at the Gates of Heaven to greet St. Peter.

St. Peter seeing the suitcase says, "Hold on, you can't bring that in here!" But the man explains to St. Peter that he has permission and asks him to verify his story with the Lord. Sure enough, St. Peter checks and comes back saying, "You're right. You are allowed one carry-on bag, but I'm supposed to check its contents before letting it through."

St. Peter opens the suitcase to inspect the worldly items that the man found too precious to leave behind and exclaims, "You brought pavement?!!!"

emoticon So here is my question ... What is the real value of what you love and are focusing on? Hmmm ...
