I used to be petite and relatively in shape--although I didn't appreciate that. But I've always been lazy. And for the past 6 years I've been fat too. I don't want to be ashamed or embarressed by the way i look anymore.

I used to maintain pretty easily at 117 or so, but that was back in college and before. After I moved to a larger city, it just got harder and harder to be active and I had more important things to do. My now husband and I both gained weight and went down in activities.

My heaviest was 170, that was in grad school. I lost down to 146 before graduation and maintained there for about 2 years. Then I got pregnant. I gained 27 pounds with the pregnancy and quicly lost 21 of it, only to bounce back to my current weight of 152 in the months since his birth.

I'm hoping that going back to work will help keep me away from food. But we have also just gotten so sedentary!

So how do we get ourselves healthy again, get more active, and still do the hobbies we enjoy, all while giving enough time and love to our new son, our pets and eachother?

I'd like to improve my health, and losing weight, getting into shape and having a firmer body will be part of that.

My Program:
I'm going to eat healthier and get some physical exercise at least 3 days a week.

I'm going to work on my self talk.

Personal Information:
I'm a CRNA living in Oklahoma--but this isn't where we're from.

I have a beautiful son and a wonderful and amazing Husband. Oh and 2 dogs and a cat.

    Hey, I thought maybe we could try to motivate each other. I did a search to find a "buddy" who had common goals. I started today and you just started 5 days ago. Seems like maybe we could help one another. I have three kids, married 12 years. A dog and cat also. I need to lose 32 pounds.
