A song chorus that brings me inspiration time and time again! I feel like I haven't lived in years, preferring to simply exist by cowering back in crowds, ashamed and embarrassed by my looks, while the me I used to know was hidden somewhere in the depths of fat folds.

Thank my lucky stars the old me finally kicked my butt and said enough is enough! I'm middle-aged and there isn't enough time to keep feeling sorry for myself. IT'S MY LIFE...IT'S NOW OR NEVER. My life can truly only be controlled by me and if I don't take charge of it, that old me will never be seen again. I JUST WANT TO LIVE WHILE I'M ALIVE. Sure beats trying to live once dead, wouldn't ya say? Simply existing is unacceptable! I DID IT MY WAY. Be true to yourself and feel proud in doing so.

It is MY life and I'm determined to bring the old me back again. Heck, who knows, maybe a brand new me will even emerge along the way. But one thing is for sure...it's time to live again!

My Goals:
1. Get healthier.

PERSONAL MOTIVATING GOAL:
Due to my wedding ring set becoming too small to wear then being stolen, when I reach goal weight I want to get a new set.

My Program:
NUTRITION:
1500-1600 calories a day for 2 weeks then 2000 calories a day for the 3rd week. Repeat.

8+ cups of water a day.


EXERCISE:
Strength Training - Sun, Tues and Thurs (dumbbells and weight machine)

Cardio - 20 to 30 min. Mon and Wed




Personal Information:
Wife and mother of 2 girls...lost somewhere in the Illinois cornfields. I like to laugh a lot, make candles and music is a passion of mine, listening to anything from AC/DC and Aerosmith to Montgomery Gentry and Elvis.


Other Information:
Maxine and muscle cars ROCK!!! And, in case you can't tell, I have a fondness for Betty Boop too.
