That paragraph has been in my introduction since I started with SP in January 2008. While still true, that's not how I want people to see me anymore.

After a serious set back in August-September, which included a two week hospitalization for depression and approval for total disability due to my physical problems, I am setting new goals for myself RIGHT NOW, 2/26/09.

I want my family to know how much I love and cherish them.

I want to get off disability by returning to school and retraining for another career. Not a job, another career.

I want to stop worrying about things I cannot control; the only thing I can control is what is happening right now. Worrying never fixes anything.

Most importantly, I want my family to know how much I love and cherish them.

I like this introduction much better: I'm not whining so much.

My Goals:
To journal more.
To stop negative "self talking."
To remember to care for myself first.
To continue with my walking program.
To get my homework turned in on time. :)

My Program:
Drinking more water, choosing better choices. Water is working, as is the exercise I'm working.

Walking Away the Pounds has probably literally been a LIFESAVER for me!

I've already reached FOUR of my goals! How exciting is that? I'll be figuring out new ones any day now!

    If you haven't done it yet, under the tab My Tools, go to your start page and in the top middle find a link that says "It's SparkTime! Welcome to SparkPeople! Check out our Getting Started Guide to learn how to use the site."

    Click on Getting Started Guide. Then get started. It really helped me to get going. Best wishes and peace.
