Hey there Spark Friends! I'm a 29 year old HR professional in the Atlanta area. I moved here four months ago to take a chance at love and follow my dreams at furthering my HR career. I have a unique and ADORING outlook on life and the people in this world.

I've been on a journey of weight loss since 2009. I was at my highest weight ever (maybe 230-235? I was too scared to look at the scale at the dr) Denial was my coping mechanism. January of 2009 I got laid off from my first "big-girl job" and my boyfriend had just told me that he wasn't attracted to me any longer because of my weight. 10 months later I was down 46lbs to 189lbs. I looked awesome! So I started eating fast food again, I stopped working out. I gained, I lost a little, I gained a little. I was all over the place.

After a few years of WW and other miscellaneous "tries", I haven't been very successful. I've maintained (for the most part)-that's about it. I weigh 197 again. I'm 5'9" and carry most of my weight in my arms/chest and legs, so my stomach wasn't usually huge and sticking out, so I always tried to justify because I wasn't apple shaped, I was "okay". Ugh. WRONG. I can do so much better!

I have finally met the love of my life and things couldn't be better. When I told my friend that I had gained a few pounds, she said "Well yeah, you're happy!" Ain't that the truth!! I am happier than I've ever been with my life and the people in it, but I am NOT happy with the way I've let myself go. Now that the rest of my life is falling into place, ts time to go back to what worked before ...tracking my food and workouts. My Goals:
I would really love to lose 30 pounds (from when I started SP). 185 would make me very happy! I know some of you are like "185! Thats still more than your BMI is supposed to be!" But I hate the BMI calculation & I quite honestly think its stupid. We are all built differently and @ 5'9" and with my bust/waist/hip ratio 150 would look unhealthy on me. So you skinny girls can keep your BMI calcs. Im ok with being a little higher than "normal".

My Program:
Watching my calorie intake and working out regularly. Trying to eat more healthy foods (vegetables--YUCK!) instead of the quick, easy foods.

Personal Information:
Im Kaylee. I live in Charleston, SC and have for the past 2+ years. I moved here from Charlotte after graduating college. I miss Charlotte--A LOT! lol The End.

I just want you to know how much your support means to me and how our time in the gym impacts many of my decisions toward food and other (more) exercise.     i know! im so glad we got to meet up! i need to start working out again, ive been getting lazy. my husband left for a week so i cant get to the gym unless i bring my kids...which is hard. are you free any day soon? i have the 30 day shred dvd and a lot of the biggest loser ones. we should work out.

    hey! i work out in my apartment gym with another girl from the area. its tiny but its free =). i cant afford a gym membership right now but you are welcome to come join us if you want to. we usually work out around 630 or 7, im trying for monday-friday and i try to work out at least 30 min up to 45 min. i need other people with me so i get motivated, otherwise i get very lazy!
