    Saw your comment on the huddle. Hang in there - winter will be over soon. Look at a picture of something sunny and see if that helps. Even better - do 10 wall pushups. You'll be amazed how a little exercise can lift you. :)

    Thanks so much for adding me as a friend. I take that as an honor and am truly humbled that you would want me. I am really struggling with some issues right now, but once I started walking today - ended up walking a little over 7 miles! I also, limited my portions of food today. Two steps in the right direction. It is a lifestyle - not a starvation.
    One thing that continually helps me is if I stop and ask myself what would be healthy for me? and choose that. It is almost always lower in fat and calories and higher in fiber and nutrients our bodies need for health.

    denise, welcome to sparkpeople. My name is Julie and I am sooo very excited that you have found us and decided to join. I saw your name on a new team fat wives/skinny hubbys. I too have posted on that site.
    I would also like to lose 30-50 pounds. my hubby does not need to lose weight and works as a delivery driver for dryers ice cream. He also brings home other treats and junk from other vendors. So there will always be junkfood in my home. I have to change my activities and eating habits. as such, I have started over a year ago a team called :1-week exercise streak and would love to have you join us.
