Life is kinda like a mountain trail, you can look at it or you can hike it, either way it is up to you to make the choice.

Choosing a route, a routine, an eating program that will support a healthy life, but also an enjoyable one. A life with NO chocolate would not be great..so I will have some. A life without bread..one of my great weaknesses, would not be fun. .. so I will have some!
The bottom line is SOME..not ALL and within reason!

I believe after floating my boat thru several trials and errors in both eating programs and exercise insanities..that moderation is indeed the key. CI/CO...is still the best way to go! Thus said it is up to me to moderate what goes in and what effort goes out!

Success as they say rests in your hands. But you must follow the path to find it. So easy to fail...give up and just say..Thas how it is.

Tia Chi or QI Gong to start day...every day

M,W,F-weights or bands

T,TH,SAT. Get out an exercise DVD & do it!

Yoga every nite

walk at least 3 miles daily
EVERY DAY

Keep chickens, ducks, geese, one donkey, a pack of 5 dogs, 2 cats and one grumpy old man.

love CW music.. actually love music in all its forms
Like to read, knit, crochet, garden, and cook new recipes for people and pets!



Other Information:
prefer to be outside but when in...read A LOT..knit & crochet..watch very little tv.

Play with and train my pups

I love learning new things and I am trying to do as much as I can to crowd a lotta living into each day!

    Thank you - I am monitoring my BP every morning so it doesn't drop too fast. I am "adjusting" my Lisinopril according to the reading - either 1 whole pill or 1/2 pill - I am hoping to be able to stop them soon.

    Mostly I drink my teas "as is" but I do tend to make them weaker - I use more water. Yesterday I drank the Hibiscus straight but then I made a quart of Bigelow Raspberry and put some Mio into it. Mainly because I had made the tea too weak.

    I come from NYC and the chinese restaurants always put a pot of tea on your table - I learned to drink my tea straight that way - back in the 1960's.

    OMG! Now I feel old, lol.
