As we head into the Spring Challenges, so the seasons are changing. It is an inspiration each year as I walk around to look at tiny buds that will be leaves and flowers, veggies and fruits.
This too is true of us, we did not appear fully bloomed, it took years of growing and development to become the wonder that we are. So it is time to decide that as a new season approaches..not a lot of "New Resolutions'..more like a re-dedication to ...
Achieving increased health and abilities
Eating a healthy (as in no junk food) meal plan
Working on being the best ME I can be .

I do solemnly pledge:
that I will do my best to eat healthy and within my calorie range,
that I will exercise to the best of my ability,
that I will watch my portions and avoid mindless eating,
that I will avoid or limit unhealthy foods,
that I will try to get enough sleep,
that I will stretch myself out of my comfort zone,
that I will always try to make healthy choices even when stressed,
that if I slip, I will get back on track with the very next opportunity,
that I will keep a CAN DO attitude, or ask for Help,
and that I will support my fellow pack mates

5% goal=10lb
Goal Weight-- 193 Onederland!! sure gonna try!

Short term goal..Onderland

Long term goal..140 to 145
waist less than 35
Able to walk to mailbox and back with ease..(3 miles of very uneven and rough country roads) but only 3 miles!

Cardio 6x 10,00 steps daily at least

T,TH,SAT. Get out an exercise DVD & do it!

Keep chickens, ducks, geese, two donkeys, a pack of 4 dogs, 5 cats (3 feral that I feed)

Like to read, knit, crochet, garden, and cook new recipes for people and pets!

prefer to be outside but when in...read A LOT..knit & crochet..watch very little tv.

Play with and train my pups

    Color pulling is done by brushing on some of the dye and then pulling it from the root down to distribute the dye. Does that make sense?

    2 nights ago a rabbit crossed our path out on the trail. Bubba ran this way and that, uphill and down, through the brambles - well, you get the picture - and he was hollering all the way. What a happy boy he was..... until the next morning when he was limping like an old man. It took 2 low-dose aspirin just to make him comfortable. Another at 4:30 p.m. He did walk with me last night and I managed to get almost 60 minutes.

    I overslept until 7:30, OMG!, and he limped outside.... and promptly took off at a full gallop after a squirrel. So I went back inside and got his leash, lol. He was only willing to walk 1 mile, but at least it was a walk, and I did another 2 back & forthing in front of my house.

    Thank you for caring - he is my sanity most days.
