Mantra for Winter 5% Challenge: I will not let things outside my control change me in a negative way. I will choose how I feel and I will focus on my goals. I am coming out of this better than I went in.

Mantra for Winter 5% Challenge: I will not let things outside my control change me in a negative way. I will choose how I feel and I will focus on my goals. I am coming out of this better than I went in.
I commit to being the very best that I can be. I deserve to love, be loved and most importantly of all, I deserve to love myself. I deserve a healthy body and I will never give up on myself, no matter what happens, and I promise to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
MY PLEDGE
I do solemnly pledge:
that I will do my best to eat healthy and within my calorie range,
that I will exercise to the best of my ability,
that I will watch my portions and avoid mindless eating,
that I will avoid or limit unhealthy foods,
that I will try to get enough sleep,
that I will stretch myself out of my comfort zone,
that I will always try to make healthy choices even when stressed,
that if I slip, I will get back on track with the very next opportunity,
that I will keep a CAN DO attitude, or ask for Help,
and that I will support my fellow team mates
I can do it!
10 COMMANDMENTS OF SELF-LOVE
1. I shall lovingly accept myself as I am right now.
2. I shall appreciate all the beauty that makes me who I am.
3. I shall regularly give thanks for all of my blessings.
4. I shall trust in my ability to take care of myself.

8. I shall be kind to others, without sacrificing my own needs.

My Goals:
Primary goal for 2021 is to lose 10% of my body weight.
To meditate for 10 minutes daily.
My Program:
By tracking every thing I eat, how much exercise I do and how much water I drink will definitely help me win this weight loss battle.
Follow the DASH diet to help keep my blood pressure down.
Personal Information:
I live in Western Australia. I'm married with 2 sons. March 2019 I became a Grandmother, I have a beautiful grandson.
Other Information:
I love to read detective stories. I have a variety of native Australian birds.

I'm on a 5% Sabbatical but they do help and they do work.
I found the most important aspect for me is to be forgiving and understanding of my short-comings and failures.
Failures is not a good word but I am at a loss for what to say - I choose to say "less than optimal" for the most part.
Praise Be, every day we get another chance to try again! Some days are less than optimal, some are awesome. But every day is a blessing.
