This isn't a new years resolution. I started trying to get myself in shape before the new year and I'm determined to see it through. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's last year and was clued off that a gluten free diet might slow the progress so I decided to give it a go. I've now lived gluten free for over 5 months and feel great!

One perk to a gluten free diet is that pretty much all fast food is off limits. No mcdonalds, no burger king, no jack in the box unless I want a salad and even then it may or may not be gluten free. It's difficult but a blessing in disguise. I had made it back up to 176 in weight and since starting the gluten free diet I am down to 161 pounds. Now my focus turns to exercise. I need to get my body back in shape so I'm working out 6 days a week doing an assortment of things.

We owe it to ourselves to do this so let's do it!!

    There's a great blog from APIRLRAIN888 on Jan. 14th you might enjoy....it's a picture blog about how she weighed 160 for several months but her body continued to change and she wore several different sizes along the way. Judy on our thread pointed this out to us a couple of weeks ago. Check it out!
