ALL I did was introduce you to Spark - the rest is ALL YOU, BABY!! *I* didn't track and measure your food and pour tons of water down your throat - YOU DID IT!!! And LOOK at YOU NOW!!!
GBD thinks I'm going to burn myself out with all the tracking and measuring. I told him I don't mind that part at all. And if it works for me, so what? I told him YOU still measure your food! He supports me regardless, just doesn't want me to get burned out and give up. I say, go with where the momentum takes you! I'm gonna ride this train for the long haul!
It really is a lifestyle CHANGE - more so than a diet. A diet is temporary (usually with temporary results). I am learning to eat (and like) more fruit; make my calories COUNT; accept that I won't starve to death if I don't have a snack 30 minutes before dinner!
Anyway, you'll see me a lot on here - tracking and blogging. That's what helps keep me going!

Geez! Look at you! GOAL MET!! That is so frickin' awesome!!! I can't believe it! Well, I CAN because you DID IT!!! YOU are smaller than Dan (who is not a big dude)!
Well, I've been making plans, buying fruit, and all junk out tomorrow. Well, most. I asked Lexi to help me be healthier, and she said I could have one cookie per day. They're currently Oreo double-stuff. But all the Christmas junk is OUT! I even bought little snack-size baggies to help me until *I* get into the habit of seeing what portion sizes look like (instead of how much I can fit into a quart size bag!) I also have a small and large scale to help.
And guess what? I updated my NON-food rewards - basically into 25 lbs increments. I was invited to stay at a friends house in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, but the tickets are already past $500. So, I figured, why not NEXT year for goal met? (Or at least high end of my healthy BMI). The I wouldn't be embarassed to EARN my Mardi Gras beads! hahaha! And you know me, enough tequila and I think I have the best rack on the planet!
Otherwise, I added a pedicure, new tattoo, etc.
Any tools or tricks you can recommend? Use the regular ol' measuring cups for food?
I am back and gearing up for the New Year and the New Me! I have been "prepping" for my start date of the 1st. I figure, why the hell NOT make a resolution to get HEALTHY? I can't resign myself to staying fat just because it's in my genes (and jeans!). If I resign myself to that, I might as well resign myself to dying at a young age. And I just aint ready to do that!
YOU are such a HUGE inspriration to me - and I tell all my friends about your success! (Plus, I could use some cute hand-me-downs!).
I am SO PROUD of you and all you have accomplished and how you alwasy stay positive and inspire others!!!
