Hi all! I'm Katie. I'm a 25 year old grad school student, and also a library assistant and personal assistant for two separate wellness companies.

I struggled with severely restricting my eating/calories for about two years and have only gained weight from the resulting binges. Now, I have been working with my therapist and nutrition coach and we have decided I need to stop counting calories and focus on listening to my body. I want to do right by it, so that means eating right and exercising and not worrying so much about the numbers! I really just want to fit in my clothes again and feel better about myself - seeing my abs again wouldn't hurt, either! :)

My Goals:
I currently weigh in at about 120 pounds, and I would like to get down to my most comfortable weight of 110-113.

I also would like to start eating more healthy calories rather than chronically restricting, because I have not been able to actually lose any weight at such a small caloric intake. My body does not function in the way it should, and I want to take care of it and stay positive!

My Program:
I exercise 3-4 times a week for 60-90 minutes, for a combination of strength/weight training and cardio.

I generally eat gluten-free and low-carb/grain-free. I also try to avoid refined, added sugars. That means my diet consists mostly of veggies, protein, and healthy fats! My biggest challenge is maintaining this at social gatherings where there its LOTS of yummy junk food.
