Hi everyone!
I'm Kris. I am not very new to SparkPeople, I have been a less than faithful member for several years. I have a terrible bad habit of losing some weight and then disappearing, only to resurface once the weight has been gained back. I am hoping this time I will stay focused and maintain my health.

My Goals:
The goals I have are simple. Adjust my eating habits, I am an emotional eater as well as a binge eater. I also want to regress to my old lifestyle where I only ate healthy foods instead of junk like I have been doing for the last 6 years. Finally, I want to fit into my old clothes (I understand so many want this and seems so clique) but I am tired of having to shop for clothes in the plus size!


My Program:
My plan is simple. Smoothies twice a day, a light dinner, a reasonable snack or two and lots of water!! I am also following two videos I picked up. Leslie Sansone and Ashley Turner are amazing and I have lost weight using their programs of walking combined with yoga. My plans may change as I lose more weight, but I am starting back up with something I know I can do until I am physically capable of moving on to more challenging things.



Personal Information:
A little about me... I have two wonderful children who are my reason for getting up each day. I am a full time student, studying for a medical degree and minoring in World Religion. I push myself to the limit and maintain good grades. I also homeschool my youngest, and that in itself is a full time job. I also work for the county parks and recreations where I live. It is a decent job, not great pay, but it will suffice until I graduate and can find a better job. I am bipolar so my mood swings are always unpredictable, but rest assured, my bark is worse than my bite. Needless to say, I have been doing yo-yo diets for years. Right before Thanksgiving of last year (2014), I lost my dad to a massive heart attack. This was my unfortunate wake up call that I need to change my entire lifestyle and live healthy so I can raise my children and watch my grandchildren grow up. I don't want to die young like my dad did. So, any further questions, please feel free to ask me. I am mostly an open book

Crocheting, researching genealogy, playing board and card games with my children and spending time with my family.

IT IS GOOD THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF YOUR CHILDERN BECAUSE YOU WILL KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM IN THE FUTURE.
