I originally joined Spark People about 3 yrs ago. I was so excited!! I told everyone about it! Well, I have come & gone a few times since then. I was very commited until about the time my daughter got married & at the same time, my mother, who is in the final stage of COPD came to live with me. Now I barely do what has to be done most days & some days even that doesn't get done!
I am almost 53 yrs old, the mother of a beautiful daughter & 2 handsome sons and have 2 adorable granddaughters.
I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Osteoarthritis, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Hypothyroidism & have to eat a Casein-free diet. That is a lot but I am so blessed that that's ALL I have! It could be so much worse even though it's pretty bad a lot of days! I just thank God for each day!
I started out needing to lose about 100 lbs. Now I need to lose about 60. Now that I am on a Casein-free diet that is easier to do because I can't have so much of what I love! lol
Excited about another new beginning! Sadly, it is without one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known! I met her on SparkPeople but unfortunately, never in person. She was a huge motivator for me but told it to me straight too. I love her & miss her.

Fitness Minutes: 7,171

My Goals:
Today is September 2 and my goal is to lose 14.8 lbs in 90 days (Nov. 30th) for weight of 140. I am going to track my food and fitness. I plan to exercise at least one hour a day for 4 days a week.


My Program:
Now that I am on a Casein-free diet I am just logging my food usually before I eat it so I know what it will mean to my overall day. This is very new to me!! I am also doing mainly chair exercises due to my back pain. I am in physical therapy for my back & thanks to God & my physical therapy team, I haven't had to use a walker for over a year!
