I planned on getting a recumbent bike once funds become available. Again, thank you so much for the encouragement. You are an inspiration!

Thank you so much for the information! It's come off before, but it seems stuck this time - and it is in different palces. I am going to have to get the exercise in more. I was almost nonmobile to 10000 steps minimum a day, I get winded easily.

Thank you for your kind words on my page. In answer to your questions, yes it did take my quite awhile to get started. First I decided to just stop drinking and then decided to stop processed grains and try whole grains. I didn't lose a pound. So instead of grains I sat down and made a list of all the healthy foods I love. I love fish and veggies of many kinds, and so I started eating them. Eggs or oatmeal with an egg on top for breakfast, a big mixed salad with 4 ounces of shrimp (or egg or no meat) for lunch, and 4 ounces of fish (chicken once a week or so) and a LOT of veggies for dinner. I snack on dill pickles mostly, sometimes beef jerky.

For exercise I bought a stationary bike. It was pretty affordable on Amazon. Fitdesk, it's called. It's already paid for itself with the money I have saved on junk food and eating out all the time. I HATE to exercise, so I do it first thing in the morning so I can't put it off or come up with excuses not to do it. That works really well for me.

Now the pounds are coming off. The cravings only lasted 2 weeks. I don't cheat. I still want pizza and burgers and fries, but I didn't give them up forever. Im taking a break from them and eating other foods I love (but are healthy) instead.

I hope some of my (so far) successful tips could be of use to you. You can do it if I can!
