    Saw your soda post and had to stop by and say hi. I hear you, it's tough to give up but I was at the dietician recently and she says it's WAY more than 10# if you give up regular soda...more like an average of 16# per year without ANY other changes. That's if you're drinking just one can a day....and let's face it, most of us are drinking more than that. Not to mention regular soda is so chock full of carbs it makes you want even more carbs.

    That was enough for me!!! I'm not going to tell you I don't miss it from time to time and I do like a little flavor in my water sometimes. I just use fresh lemons like at the restaurants and know I've got to drink it. Your parents gave you a disadvantage raising you on soda but you certainly aren't alone. Nobody realized it was a big problem until recently. Hang in there and join us saying bye to the fizzy stuff.
