(Where I am now)

Life is still complicated! I can not get my weight under control. I have been on basically a two year plateau. Up 5 down 6 up 2. I've jumped from 197 to 210 so many times. Weighing weekly tracking foods and exercising. I know why I gained and I know why I lose. BUT I can't seem to break the sabotage. I'm tired. I'm tired. But I can't stop. So here I am again hoping.....praying.....dreaming......of a new life. A life of freedom from this weight, freedom from exhaustion, freedom from depression, freedom from shame, freedom from the roller coaster. I haven't given up, that's my only positive today.

(Where was I then)

Life is complicated and some day my weight will not add to the struggles in my life.

I am now 42, with the same goal become healthy. I joined WW at the end of May and have had a 22 lb weight loss in 11 weeks. I''m on track, but feel so off track. So I decided to reconnect with my spark family to see if I can find some motivation. I''m a teacher and school will be starting soon and I''m not sure I''m strong enough to deal with the stresses of school and lose weight also. I still have over 75 lb to lose just to be close to a healthy weight. I can''t afford to fail my weight if effecting my health, my boys, my marriage, and my job. I''m in it to win! This is it!

I am a 40 years old, I think I deserve to be healthy and one day I will be healthy again. I am a very proud mother of an 9 year old and a 3 year old. They are the pride of my life and I want to be around a long time for them. So I am getting my self on track again.

It has been my hardest year ever. I have seen new lows and have felt pain that I never want to feel again. I am far from perfect, but this year did not seem fair. So the only thing I can change is me. I know the change has to be for and from me. I''m hoping I''m strong enough to make this the year for making a lasting change in my life. Here is to 2013!

New Year and New Goals:

2007 graced me with a 65 lb weight loss and 43 weeks of true healthy living. 2008 graced me with an almost 45 lb weight gain and very little true healthy living. I am focusing on weight loss again and hoping that I can get back on track. Let me introduce myself again. I''m a 35 year old mother of a four year old who has struggled with weight since I was born (10 lb baby). I vowed to myself in January of 2007 that this would be the last year I would make a resolution to lose weight, but I''m making it one last time. That year I lost 65 lb and was only 25 lb from my weight goal and my high school graduating weight. I love food and every day is a struggle to keep on track. Some day I hope that my bad habits are replaced with good habits and I don''t have to think so hard to make the right choices. But really why I''m doing this is to install healthy eating habits and a love for exercise in my son so he never has to go through the struggles I have. Well it is another year and my son is a very healthy eater and talks about exercise a lot, but that will change quickly if I do not start role modeling more appropriate things.

It is January 2008 and I have 60 lbs to lose AGAIN. I see many positives from this adventure and many of them are in my son and his eating habits and veiws of exercise. I think that is one of the reasons that I do not quit. Lord knows that I have wanted too many times and that I have many times...but I look at my son or he asks if we are going to exercise...then I''m back on board. I''ve decided that I will always crave food, and that I will always want more, but the difference is that I am strong enough to say no. Temptations will always be there and some days I will slip, but I will never fall. I will always get back up and brush myself off. I have gone back to the old me, but that doesn''t mean that I have to stay here. Because if I do it is not only me who loses, but my son and husband also. And I love them too much to ever do that to them again. So I''m getting closer to a healthier person, but some days it seems so far away. But my goal now is to make it.

Wish me luck!
