Hoping to shed some extra poundage and stop hurting. Also there are a few other goals I have for myself. I'd like to shower without having to lift my belly flap to clean under it. I'd like to cross my legs like a lady should be able to, I haven't been able to do that in years. There are more but it would take all day to list them.

Hello Sparkies! Great News, I am 23# lighter than I was in January and that flap I mentioned before is shrinking nicely (Haha). I can also cross my legs, finally but not for long. Still going strong, stronger than I really thought possible.

Old habbits die hard so it was a great thing that I was able to do this before I had my third child and I remember it well!

The more good stuff you eat, the less junk food you have a taste for! I cringe at the thought of fast food cheese burgers and even chicken and fries, where a few months ago they were irresistable. It isn't just fast food either, I feel sick at the thought of lard and fried chicken and cookies. I really like these pleasant side effects. I do still enjoy my Subway though.....call it a guilty pleasure!

I have broken the 25 pound mark! I am so proud of myself.....*pat me on the back*! Now just 75 more to go until my first goal! No big deal, I can so do this. More Yoga :)

Back to physical Therapy for me. Still having trouble with my arm after the accident. Unfortunately my therapist says no more yoga until the arm in much improved but eventually she wants me to get back to my practice. I'm sad but looking forward to a day when I can resume my yoga practice. Until then I guess it'll have to be walks since strength training the upper body is also off limits for a while. Wish me luck!!

My Goals:
I want to do this because I know I can and I know I am not as healthy as I can be. Also....
I want to be a positive role model for my children and be healthy and fit enough to play with them and do fun things together. I really want my daughter to see a fit and healthy mother so she doesn't feel like she'll be destined to be obese when she gets older.

My Program:
I follow Sparkpeople's meal plans almost to the letter and when I do deviate, I always keep it in moderation and list it accordingly.

I do yoga every morning and take walks near where we live with my children. I also do some of the SP workout videos and I have a regimen of physical therapy exercises I do each day that include weights and resistance bands.
