I'm A Total LOSER!! Hehee...
My final weigh in.... I weighed 400+ lbs and my BMI was an outrageous unheard of number. (I'm 5' 7" tall.) I have now *LOST* it ALL. Today I weigh exactly 139 lbs and my BMI is only 21.8!!!!!!
I joined SP Autumn 2009 but wasn't very good at navigating the site. I did not have any friends who were members and did not know anyone to ask for help navigating my way around. Instead, I used a lot of the SP articles, exercise examples and tried to master it the best I could. I wasn't ...

I joined SP Autumn 2009 but wasn't very good at navigating the site. I did not have any friends who were members and did not know anyone to ask for help navigating my way around. Instead, I used a lot of the SP articles, exercise examples and tried to master it the best I could. I wasn't very computer literate then either so had that against me. I took off with the new information I had absorbed from SP and returned all of the time. In 10 months, I went from weighing 338.5 lbs to weighing "only" 230 lbs. That was GREAT but I remained stuck there for quite some time. I tried everything I could to get over the plateau but failed, miserably.
I made it down 4 more pounds but I had enough! I got mad! For a few months I tried eating *much* less and working even harder. January 28th, 2011, I was down to weighing 216 pounds, sure, but I was seriously friggin sick of being hungry and exhausted all of the time. That is no way to live! I decided it was time to give SP my 110% and be brave enough to ask for help to learn how to take advantage of all of the SP tools available.
Unfortunately, my old account is no longer available (and for reasons unknown to me). So, on January 28th, 2011 I created a new account. I weighed 216 pounds when my 2nd attempt with SP began that day.
In any case, On April 8th, 2011, I weighed in at 165 lbs. That's 51 more pounds LOST in only 3 months!!!
Fast forward to today... (August 2012 as I type this)... I want to reach my goal of weighing 130 pounds! I've made it down to weighing only 144 lbs. At my height, my BMI is now only 22.6!! Spark People's tools have taught me how to achieve my goal safely and taught me how to maintain that weight once I am there! I very much look forward to learning more, losing more and continuing my journey to getting fit! When there is something I do not understand or can not figure out on my own, I am brave enough to ask now even if I do risk annoying people.
I have 14 more pounds to lose yet but I'm working my butt off for it every day! Losing weight this last couple of months seems to be absolutely and I'm discouraged. I don't get it. I've done everythig yo can imagine and no luck at all. I've dropped 3 lbs this month but that's been it for a while. The doctor says I have 12 to 15 lbs of extra skin and really only weigh about 130 lbs. My husband and friends say I'm only skin and bones but I don't see it. I think they're trying to make me feel better since my weight loss has come to a stand still and I'm discouraged! LOL.
