I agree with Sandi521 - love your candor and honesty! I agree with some of the things you commented on your page. And I love your hair! My hair has always been very long. When I cut it a couple years ago my sons said I look like a dyke. Its ridiculous to think women only look female if they have long hair. This attitude comes from religious teachings and from many cultural groups. I liked having long hair while I had it, but I became tired of always having to curl, dry, and spend so much time styling it, and when I think of how much hairspray I enhaled for 46 years, I am surprised I haven't died of lung cancer or became a vegetable from brain damage. I cut it very short a couple years ago and spiked it and I loved it. Then 5 months ago I went blonde with the short hair (so the gray would not be so obvious against the the brunette) and it is so easy to "style" and go. I love it. When I was young I use to say "I will never cut my hair short when I get old." And I am reminded of the old saying "Never say never." I don't spike it anymore because I have a super religious boss that doesn't approve of any female that does not look submissive. emoticon

Wow I love your candor and honesty.
I am concerned with being healthy not being beautiful. However I find being fit a real turn on. If I am not healthy I will not be able to do the things I enjoy and I will not be happy.
So today I choose to make healthy choices so that I don't limit what I can do in the future. I have recently retired so I want to be able to do all the things I said I would some day.
