I joined October 23, 2016. I have fluctuated up and down from 152-176 since forever. I am finally committed to truly changing. I am going to follow more of a Mediterranean Diet and did the reboot portion of Dr. Aviva Romm's Thyroid Revolution book. 1.31.20, I opened a diet pepsi, took a few sips, and then poured it down the drain. It doesn't even taste good and I know it is terrible for me. I haven't had one since! 1/31/20: 172lbs (42in hips) (highest weight was 176) 2/14/20: ...
1/31/20: 172lbs (42in hips) (highest weight was 176) 2/14/20: 166lbs 2/28/20: 165.2lbs 3/20/20: 161.6lbs (38.5in hips) 4/1/20: 160.2 (I've lost 2 inches in my arm and 3.5 inches on my waist:) 5/1/20:161.8lbs (lost 4" in waist, 2" on thigh, 2" on bicep and 3" on hips!) 6/1/20: 159.8lb and another .5 off hips 7/1/20: 158lbs. About same inches lost. Time to up the ante somehow! 8/7/20: Roughly the same (158, a little more off the hips is all) which stinks but beats gaining! 2/2/21: 164 gah!! I let the weight creep back up again but I am on it this time!!

My Goals:
I need to get back to my ideal weight and get healthy and stay that way. I'm getting too old to deal with junk health issues. I have had some health issues (thyroid, joint pain) get me off-track and am finally ready to tackle this and feel better again. I am sick of my own excuses!
My Program:
I use some exercise videos (ab, yoga/pilates and others), keep to ~1300-1500 calories a day. I walk and ride my bike as well. I love to horseback ride too, but am not very good at it yet. I use doTERRA products to help, such as Slim & Sassy products and oils to make my water taste great and keep me from getting sick. I cut ALL added sugar completely for over a month because I was an addict. I can now eat it once a month or so but don't eat it often as I don't want to return to old habits. Cutting sugar has been a game-changer for me. I never wanted to do it because it seemed so impossible but I know the research says to do it so I finally tried it.
