My name is Lisa i am at the gym 6 days a week from 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours and am trying to get in some better shape! I am a pretty athletic girl that loves being outdoors!! I seem to have hit a plateau so if anyone out there has any advice for me let me know because with as much as i work out i should be in tip top shape by now!! Also, i have got really into running lately and just upped my miles from 3 to 12, so if anyone has any advice to increase distance or speed please let me know! I need to get over the mental aspect =)

I just finished my first half marathon at the end of September and achieved both of my goals, #1 was not to walk one bit of it and #2 was to finish in under 2 hours! i did it!!! I have since completed 2 more 1/2 marathons with the same goals completed and got faster each one =0)

My Goals:
I ran my first half marathon in late September 2008 and have ran 2 more since than and want to train for a full this fall!!! Completed a few Triathlons and Duathlons and would love to do many more!


My Program:
I just currently joined a new gym which offers a wide variety of classes, so i am going 6-7 days a week and doing 1 hour of cardio and weight training. I keep my calories in range but seem to have problems reaching my calorie range without going over the amount of carbs i am supposed to have. if anyone has any suggestions let me know!!! Other than that I am a very active person who plays ALOT of golf and softball and love taking my dog Bailey for walks and runs to keep him in shape as well!!!

I am a HUGE Detroit Tigers and Pistons fan!!! My favorite TV show is greys anatomy!!!! i play softball and golf in the summer to keep me active along with going to the beach!

    Hey Lis...How's the running going? I was running outside yesterday and for some reason thought of you. Maybe b/c you always talked about running outside even when it was colder out and I thought about that.
    I'm so bummed about the Pistons this year. I really thought they made some decent moves in off season, but injuries have killed them. Now I just am hoping they get a lottery pick and maybe next year they will bounce back.
    We did renew our Tiger Tix for this season so looking forward to that!

    On your comments regarding the plat. I just started the P90X extreme home fitness. It is great. Bust my plat up. The 60 minutes of Plyometric training has greatly improved my run, bike, and swim.

    Helloooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! What's going on Lisa? I was running outside today and thought about you..i guess just b/c I was running outside finally. I'll be up in your area tomorrow..going to a Great Lakes Loons game. Have you been? I haven't..gonna be a long day with work and the drive, but what the heck. :)
