Introduction Text My name is Lisa and I live in the beautiful bluffs of La Crosse, WI -- often referred to as "God's Country". My husband and I have been together for 21 years and we have a 9 yr old son who means the world to us. I turned 40 this year and realized that the time to take control of my weight is now. I am hoping that SparkPeople will provide me with the tools and support that I will need along my journey to better health.

I need to lose weight and shape up - as I age my weight problem has become more of a health problem.

I am planning on reducing my calorie intake and increasing calories burned! It sounds so simple, right? ;-) It's the execution of the plan that is difficult...
