My Goals:
My initial goal was to lose 30 lbs from January to June. I did it! And decided to begin towards my next goal of losing another 10 lbs. I would like to lose more weight, yet my primary goal is to live my best life! That includes eating healthy everyday and treating my body well, giving it the exercise it needs to stay strong and fit. I believe in the four cornerstones of Spark: Focus, Fitness, Fire and Force. I have learned it is so much more than dieting. It is a healthy body, soul, spirit, and about sharing with others what I can to help them achieve the same.
My Program:
I am eating around 1550-1750 calories per day, trying to make those come from whole grains, veggies, fruit and lean meats. I am doing the treadmill, elliptical and stairstepper at the gym or running around 4-5 times a week. I have been jogging/running for about 3 years now and am planning to do my second half-marathon in September.
Personal Information:
I am a wife (to a great husband), mother of three wonderful adult children, one fantastic son-in-law, a beautiful daughter-in-law and grandmother to the world's most adorable grandson! We are also very excited about our granddaughter due in November!
Other Information:
I am currently finishing my last two prerequisite classes in order to apply for a nursing program.
