Here I go again!
I am going to show my age, didn't Dolly Parton sing that song: Here I go again! I have been off of here since about March, started a part time job, was getting up aroung 2:30 in morining to get to work by 4am 3 days a week did that till mid May then hours got cut back again now I work 12 - 5 m, t and everyother wednesday and at least one weekend a month.
Well, my workouts are non exsistant. My mind tells me to get up and do it but the rest of me is to tired. I really need to get back i shape! I am now 56 years old I can't seem to get my priorities in order or my schedule to work out! I wish I could be the coach to my self that I used to be to others. I would just like to ask for prayers for me to get my act together to get back to healthy me!

Thanks and God Bless!!!!

Time for an update!
I am 55 years old now, boy has my life changed in the last 11 years! I had owned my own fitness center for women for about 4 years and then closed it. I gained a lot of weight back from that. I was sad to close but yet don't regret it. It was a lot of hard work but I enjoyed working with my ladies everyday! They made my day! I miss them a lot!
I have struggled with my diabeties for a long time. I think in the last few months I am starting to get it figured out. Almost! My A1C for a long time was between 9 - 13. My morning fasting reads were 250 and higher. I went on a 30 day detox from Jan 21 - Feb 19 and I was doing so good on that that I reduced my insulin intake. Well as you know at the beginning of each year your insurance makes you reach a deductable before it goes into full effect. Wel my deductable is $4000 then it goes 80/20. Well usually at beginning of the year I can't afford my insulin it goes up to $300- $600 for 20/30 day prescription. Well my insurance cost went up $30 a week this year so I pay $250 a week for insurance so it made it even harder to afford meds. I looked on our insurance site, med site, and Good RX to see what kind of deals I could get but it seemed to still be too high. My pharmacy will text me when my order is ready and I also get a price with it. Well I decided to see how much my insule was going to cost me, so I ordered it got the text afraid to open it and the good Lord is helping cause the cost was $00.00. Thank you Jesus. Now I feel like I can go on and continue my healthy life style. I was eating right and exercising with out my meds for a week and my sugar reads went high, but I have been back on for a couple of days and they are down!

I had been off of SparkPeople for awhile, I would check in and see if there was any changes but never really went on any of my team pages or posted much. and I have been posted and getting back involved since the beginning of the year and I realize just how much I miss this and the encouragement I get from fellow Sparkers. So thank you all! God Bless!

is my story: I am a 44 year old mother of 2 - son 19, daughter 17, grandmother (from son) of 1 - 22 month old boy (who is one of the cutest boys u every see.), 7 years ago I remarried ( one of the best husbands a woman could ask for ), at the time we got married I was around 20 - 25 pounds over weight. 6 years ago I was a pepsicaholick and quit, 5 years ago I had been smoking for 26 years and was up to 3 packs a day and quit, 4 years ago I had agained another 20 pounds and found out I was diabetic - and due to the medicine I gained another 20 pounds. I found this site and logged on and off for the last couple of weeks and decided to give it a try. I am one that needs something to remind me everyday and every second what my goal is. I want to get down to 130 pounds. I feel like quiting smoking was easier than losing weight. I need all the support and help I can get. Even if it means for someone to txt me saying: GET UP AND GET GOING NOW!!!!!!!!!!! I type as much as I talk so I better quit or we'll have to start another page. Thanks in advance for your help!
