Lisa, thank you for reading my sad blog about my mother-in-law's Alzheimer's, and for sharing part of your mother's story. I really feel for you--that last part of her life must have been so appalling, as my own mother's final days were. Actually, I have MORE stories about old age and dying, but I fear that I might just bring everybody down (and get a reputation for being gloomy!)! I mean, we go along and go along, using up loads of energy to raise kids, and then our parents start to lose their minds and physical abilities, and then we ourselves start to decline--AAARGH!--it seems as if the hardest lessons in life come at the END, when all we really want to do is RETIRE!

But I'm not complaining (ha ha).

Okay, now that I've cheered you up, let me wish you a wonderful day! Thanks again for your thoughtful responses to my blogs! I really appreciate you!

Hi Lisa, I'm a little late, but thank you for commenting on my blog the other day about accents. I'm sorry you got cut off at the 2-minute mark, but I appreciate your telling me that so that I could try again and get the whole thing posted. Thank you so much--it's always fun to hear from you.

I hope you're having a great week. I know it's a really busy season, and hope you're managing to avoid feeling too much stress. I'm okay so far, but it's gonna hit me soon!

Hi Lisa, hope you are having a great day! How was your Thanks Giving? Did you survive the indulgences? Always a challenge, I know! Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your kind words on my Acceptance Blog. I think you have me pegged pretty good. I think it is important to be able to have clarity about our journey through life, afterall it helps define us. I really appreciate the closeness I feel to a handful of my friends on SP You are definitely one of them Lisa. I have loads of acquaintances here and we have indeed friended one another. But there is that handful that I just know, mean a lot to one another. Hugs...Nora
