Hi, I'm Laura!

I'm working on getting myself in shape and maintaining a healthier life!

WEIGHT LOSS TIPS I FOUND TO BE HELPFUL.

Diets Are Impossible To Stick With!

-In time you'll gain all that weight back and be right back to where you started.
To get the weight off for good and maintain that healthy figure, your life-style and choices about food and exercise have to change for life. (I found this to be the hardest to change. We all know changing our old bad habits isn't easy to do!)

Take Baby Steps!

-Make small positive changes at first and take it day by day. Don't expect to see dramatic results in the beginning.

Never Skip Breakfast.

-Start your day right! Make time to eat a healthy meal. It'll set the tone for your day. You're most likely to make good choices throughout the day if it's started right!

Snack Throughout The Day.

-Snack on raw fruits, veggies, and nuts instead of reaching for that greasy bag of chips or bagel.

Drink Drink Drink!!

-Drinking a lot of water can be difficult but I found that if I carried a large water bottle around all day instead of a smaller one, I was more likely to get my daily intake in faster.
I learned to cut out soda's, and sugary drinks completely! Instead of using real sugar in your coffee, I use Truvia now to sweeten things up a bit.

Make Working Out Fun!

-No one wants to workout when your bored with your workouts. Change it up daily to keep it interesting!
Include the family on hiking trips, walks, runs, etc.


Most Importantly: Love Yourself!

-We are our own biggest critics, so it wouldn't hurt to start loving ourselves. You deserve to be happy, and you owe it to yourself to lead a happy, healthy life, not only for yourself, but to your family.
My daughter is my #1 motivator. I look at her and want nothing more than health and happiness for her future.
Always believe in yourself and keep your head up.

*You'll have good days and bad days, but just don't lose sight of the finish line! You've got this! No more excuses.

My Goals:
To maintain a healthy lifestyle and weight by eating clean and exercising everyday. I want to weigh 120.


My Program:
I'm choosing to eat healthier food's. I don't eat anything processed anymore. I'm sticking to lots of raw veggie's and fruits. Fish, poultry, whole grains, and dairy. Absolutely no soda, sugary drinks, etc. I'm constantly carrying my water bottle everywhere, filling it back up all day long. I workout at least 1-2 times a day, 5 days a week.



Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont. I recently moved to southern VT. I'm a Mommy to a 6 year old girl. The middle sister of 5 girls 1 step sister and 1 step brother. My boyfriend and I are going on 3 year's this October 2012!
