I am currently looking for a workout partner that has a membership to the Lifetime Fitness in Vernon Hills? Anyone want to meet up there and keep each other motivated?



Hi, I'm Heidi. I'm 32 years old and married to the most wonderful man for nearly 13 years. We have two kids, our dd is 61/2 and our ds is 4.

This is the beginning of something new for me.
My peak weight was last year when I hit 167.5. That's really hard to type, considering I'm only 5' tall. Reading about how my ideal TOP weight is only 128lbs is hard, and feels impossible. And I want to be BELOW that. My goal is 118.


Yikes!


I successfully lost 10 lbs last year and hovered around that weight for a long time, and then a two weeks ago I got on that scale and it said 162 again and I just sat down on the edge of my tub and cried.



I'm back here too to help stay motivated.

After spending far too much time on this site reading other sparkpages for inspiration, I found that one thing that inspires me most is seeing goals set and met!
So I'm going to set some goals of my own and see if down the road somewhere I might inspire someone else!

Goal #1: Log my food intake all week.
Goal #2: Run 3/4 mile by next Monday's workout.

My Goals:
I would like to weigh 120-125, but more importantly I want to feel *good*. I'm tired of my hips aching, and I'm tired of being tired.

My body fat percentage is 42.1%. That is unacceptable to me. It must be lowered.


My Program:
Concerned about heart issues in my family as well as diabetes, I'm doing a modified version of the South Beach diet. I'm feeling a lot different in a good way.

I am a scrapbooker. It's something I have a great passion for, and spend my spare time doing. I also really enjoy reading, and my kids are just a blast to be around.

    don't look at your dreams as being lost just as they have been put on the back burner for a while. I had to dig way down deep inside myself to find the courage to even go back to school after all these years. once i started back i fell in love it. i keep telling my husband i'll just become a professional student. haha. it's amazing what you can do once you put your mind to it. having a great supportive family behind me is what gets me through the rough spots. yesterday was my last summer class and i made an A in the class and then i treated myself to a long message. it was great!!!
