Introduction Text Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my SparkPage. I just joined SparkPeople on 2/6/08 and have lost 7 pounds with another11 pounds yet to lose. This is the first time in my life that I have had that much weight to lose and it's a big deal to me. I am very active and go to the YMCA three times a week now (since January 1) but my problem is overeating lately and not being able to stop...believe me, I understand those facing much larger weight issues because I come from a family of overweight people. It's so hard to keep those pounds off when you love to eat and, boy, do we love to eat. I am married to a wonderful man (Tom) who spoils me rotten. We have been married for almost 39 years. Since we were not blessed with children we decided to be one another's "baby" for life. I like spoiling him too. Our home is in Louisville, Kentucky and our hobbies are traveling the world and supporting our local college team (The Louisville Cardinals). We love both football and basketball on the college level. Not so much the pros. Louisville is also the home of the Kentucky Derby and a beautiful place to live. Tom and I are Christians and attend Southeast Christian Church here in Louisville. SCC has a membership of 20,000. It is a very loving church filled with precious Christians and led by the Holy Spirit. I am so glad that I found SparkPeople and I am looking forward to a new adventure and journey with my new friends. Continue my weight/treadmill routine monday, wednesday and Fridays. keep my food tracker current drink 8-10 8 oz glasses of water a day DON'T WHINE !!!!!!!!!

I put my laptop on my kitchen table so it is handy to work on my food tracker. The water is tough - I have a pitcher that holds 50 oz and I try to drink that that every day I found a "No Whining" plaque and hung it in my kitchen

Born and raised in Louisville, KY and attended Butler HS with some U of L but no degree. MAJOR U of L Cardinal fan and attend basketball and football games. Christian, attend Southeast Christian Church. Love the Lord with all my heart. Married to wonderful man who is the love of my life - not blessed with any children but he is my "baby"!!!!

Love to read and belong to several book of the month clubs love to cook - and eat (therein lies my problem) I believe that every heart beat is a gift from God; I appreciate every moment of every hour of every day to love and be loved.
