Hi everyone. :-)
I'm 38 years old, live with my OH, have no kids (yet!) and work full time. I'm also doing a course which started in September and will run for the next 2 years.
Basically the reason I'm here is that I've gained 20 lbs over the last few years. It's crept on slowly, an extra biscuit here, a chocolate bar there, and few of my clothes fit me any more. I'm really busy and find myself using the old excuse that I don't have time to exercise any more and that I need convenience food 'cos I just don't have time to cook.
This is all nonsense. I could make time for these things. I have no energy and a poor diet aggravates this.
Last week I found myself wondering if i should give up my life-long dream of completing this course as I just don't have enough energy to do all the things I need to. I decided no, I'm going to get fitter and stronger and healthier instead, and achieve all the things I've ever wanted.
I'd love to hear from others in a similar position. I'm determined to reach 40 feeling better than I ever have done!
