Oh I should have added - on that 120 you are probably talking about grams - the numbers I posted are percentages. So my 40 for Carbs is that 40% of what I ate that day was carbs. Hope that clears up the matter.

Hi Lynn - thanks for the blog love! for breakfast, when I have oatmeal in the morning (about 3x a week) I usually add a side of protein, something like Turkey bacon because I need that in the morning. I also have started putting in Greek Yogurt, non fat, and Flax seed. Maybe it doesn't hit my carb numbers because I just do a 1/2 c. of oats?

For an on the go breakfast, have you looked into a lettuce wrap BLT? I use a lettuce wrap, hard boiled egg (sliced) which you can pre-cook, 1-2 slices of Turkey bacon (you can cook this in the microwave if in a rush), with sliced tomato and a 1 tbsp topping of equal parts Dijon Mustard with low fat or Olive Oil Mayo.

Another option is to do a breakfast burrito you fix up and then store in the freezer, microwaving it on the day you want. I personally haven't gotten these to work for me as I find the scrambled egg tough tasting but you might want to check out recipes for those.
