I am 30, doing spinning 3- 4 times a week and for 2009 want to do strength training 1- 2 a week...

At 17, my weight reach almost 175lbs!! Since, I am on my own ( since my 17 years old), I have lost a lot of weight, I am now at 120lbs, 5'3!!
I am happy with this weight but still want to loose around 10 pounds to be well fit. Want to feel confident on the beach... My eating habits are not really good ( eat a lot of sugars every day), but as I am training my weight is more stable... I can imagine how easier it will be to reach 110lbs if I remove these sugars from my nutrition!! It's very hard, I LUV sweets!
My grandfather died at 64 years old ( heart attack) & 4/ 7 of his children actually have diabetes ( including my mother): so I really need to keep it low on sugars... I have to discipline myself and hope will get help with this website!
Enjoy life & surround yourself of good influences! ;)

My weight time-line

Age 12: 130- 135
Age 13: 122-125
Age 14-16: around 135
Age 16-17: 145 to 175!!!
Age 17-18: drop to around 125...
Age 19- 22: fluctuated 125- 140
Age 23: reach 155
Age 24: first diet in my life and went back down to 130- 135 ( protein diet with medical team)
Age 24- 26: stable around 135
Age 26: another diet with a specialist and drop to around 122!! yeah!
Age 26 to now ( 30): stable at 120 ( fluctuate between 118- 122)
Now: Want to drop 10 last pounds and get a tone body!!

    I will try for sure agave but for splenda, not sure... Kind of afraid of this fake sugar...
    My actual goal would be to eliminate refined sugars & understand why I am so in need of these... For sure sugar is comforting & I really need to change this relation!! ;) emoticon

    if you are a sugar-lover, try agave nectar (ponounced ah-GAH-vay). i love the stuff! its great in oatmeal and margaritas too, it can be used like sugar. or, better yet, do what i do and just grab a few extra Splenda next time you are at starbucks! hee hee emoticon
