Hello I am 27 years and currently needing to lose 50 lbs due to health issues, T2 diabetes and hypertension. I also want to lose the weight to be a healthy mother for my toddler son and show him that living healthy is the best way to go! Before my son was born I didn't care too much about my weight bc my husband loved me the way I was but then we both realized that my health is way more important than my looks anyways. So prior to my son's birth my doctor kept telling me I needed to lose weight before I could get pregnant, I tried these diets but quickly fell off and never really lost any weight then got pregnant with our son and was at my highest weight of 250. I've always been overweight so I didn't see a big deal in it but when it caused me to have health issues, I knew something had to get done. A huge eye opener was this May when my new doctor told me that if I kept living like I was then I wouldn't live to see 40. That meant my son would be without a mother before he would graduate high school. I was very sad, but I said I have to do something! So I started eating healthy and walking but I had NO motivation what so ever and I was back to eating fast foods and frying foods! A few weeks ago a friend began a challenge on facebook to lose 20 lbs by the end of the year, I joined and have been active since then. I also since then found SP and it has been great! I plan to stay on track and Never QUIT! I have to keep my LIFE so I can see my son grow up and maybe even give him a sibling!

I enjoy being online and on my phone so tracking and blogging is great for me because I am doing something I like! I wont get bored while doing something good for myself!
