I am the wrong side of 30 now, looking to continue growth in my business (a bar) which see long hours, little sleep and almost an addiction to energy drinks and bad foods to get through the day.
I am a person whom suffers with depression and anxiety and have a true rollercoaster of emotions through a week to week basis which as I said above has seen me use bad foods and drinks as a crutch to survive and feel happiness in ways which I should not have and it is now hurting me living my life the way that I am.
I know if I do not try and make life and lifestyle changes now then I never will and it will hurt me later in life.

Fitness Minutes: 1,220

My Goals:
In the long term my goal is to lose nearly 100 lbs to get from the obese range to the normal one.
Short term
1) Would like to lose enough weight to be able run 5km none stop.
2) Learn to eat better and try to cut out most of the bad food choices I have made week in week out.
3) Workouts - I don't do any fitness activities, so in the short term due to my excess weight I am simply looking to walk more, I have now rescued a dog (he's awesome) and so he is a reason to have to get up and out whatever the weather. I am going to try a little weight training on light weights and also have an exercise bike to slowly build up and see where I can progress to before looking at more short term goals within this area.
4) Try to plan meals out and prep as much as possible to keep on the straight and narrow so bad or easy food choices are not made as much/if at all to keep progressing.

My Program:
Walking - Due to high weight this is a great way for me to start off without putting to much strain on my body.
Weight Training - I have some weights and a bench etc. As such will look at resistance training to help me progress toward my goals but will be starting light to feel my way into this.
Cardio - I have an exercise bike and rower to access so will look at these as good viable options for me to get cardio in without putting too much strain on my knees and ankles as I am struggling with them after an accident as well as my now excessive weight gain.

Personal Information:
I have long suffered with depression and anxiety, I have had major lows with this and as such had to go on medication to just get through the day. I am on the road to recovery with this though still have some bad days. That said though I am always here to chat with anyone suffering, its ok not be ok and while I know a chat won't make things just go away sometimes just chatting with someone who has had the same experiences as you can help a little or a lot.
