Sparkpeople truly is the only one we ever really needed.

It's almost a year and I've finally got my eating habits where it is my new lifestyle. I've learned portion control and eating moderately. Incorporated variety and lots of fresh veggies and fruits. I still get to enjoy bacon, chocolates and fried foods. Just not as often or in huge amounts. Doing well with parties and offerings of food by others. I'm no longer a victim, I have final say over what goes into my body. Emotional eating or binge eating do not play any part in my life anymore. Sparkpeople has taught me how to overcome my weaknesses. I know how to maintain and have confidence that I'm capable of living healthy. It took one day at a time, one step at a time. One meal planned to a weeks worth of planned meals. Now it's a good habit of mine and I have SP to thank and all of my friends and fellow sparkers who've encouraged me onwards. You are worth it, too! Keep on moving forward and learning from your mistakes. It is your life, you get to re-do, re-new, and make-over your entire being if that is what you want. I'm now into sculpting my body with fitness and cardios. Strenght training, balance and isometrics. Let us be all that we know we should be! Have fun as we journey towards our new goals. Be patient, kind and above all....forgiving!

Fitness Minutes: 30,000

My Goals:
Release 15 more pounds then maintain my new healthy lifestyle. Finish all of my past projects.....crocheting, cross stitching, sewing, quilting, applique-ing. Want my home to be filled with all handmade linens and such made by me.

My Program:
Continue to eat moderately yet in great variety. Keep up with cardios and strenght training. Drink water all day long and eat more fruits and fresh veggies.

    you are exactly right in taking this a chunk at a time. its a much more positive approach as you get to achieve a goal alot sooner.
