At lot has changed in the 10 years since I have updated my page. Lots has happened, some good some not so much. Became a widow in 2017, hubs was diabetic. I was hubs caregiver for 6 years prior, lots of doctors appointments out of town, hospital stays and lots of eating out. In that time I put on a lot of weight, I was at my highest weight ever. I was diagnosed as prediabetic and put on metformin. I have lost 62 pounds since and have been able to cut my metformin in half and my heart medicine. I did good through the pandemic and manage to lose 10 pounds during that time, but from Thanksgiving till Christmas I gained it back.
Now I have to get my act together, lose that 10 and continue losing. I don't want to go down the same diabetic path hubs did. I CAN DO THIS

My Goals:
To lose the 10 pounds I gained over the holidays. To get back on track of eating healthy, drinking my water, not snacking, keep my medication down and getting back in my size 14 pants. Then I can go from there


My Program:
I still go to T.O.P.S. when we have meetings. I like WW but it's expensive. I'm trying to eat more veggies and fruits, getting away from processed food, Good-Bye Zingers, watching my portions.



Personal Information:
I was married for 42 years when I lost my husband in 2017. I have 2 daughters Mandy 41 and Katie 40. Four big tall grandsons. Still live in Southeast Kansas with one dog Bear, part shepherd and part husky and 120 pounds of spoiled.



Other Information:
I like to read, watch movies and sit on my front porch and watch the world go by.

I'm a coffee-holic!
