Hi, my name is Elizabeth! Welcome to my Sparkpage! I discovered Spark People over seven years ago now. I haven''t used it consistently over that period of time, but I sure do better at reaching my goals when I do! I''m a lawyer, a politico, a lover of books, a scrapbooker and crafter! You''ll find me at the YMCA a lot, doing cardio funk and water aerobics. I''ve lost about 70 lbs. so far, but I''m pushing to reach that next huge milestone-- 100 lbs!

Fitness Minutes: 15,259

My Goals:
- Lose a LOT of weight.
- Be healthier
- Feel better and more confident about myself.
- Find some kind of physical activity that I really enjoy.

My Program:
I currently am consulting a physician to help me with my weight loss. Here's the plan:
-1500-1800 calories/day
- Eat 3 meals a day (2 optional snacks)
- Eat 30-40g protein at each meal (total of 130g a day)
-Eat no more than 1 c. carbs (2 servings) w/ each meal (totaling aprox. 160 g. a day).
- Exercise 5x a week
- Use the food tracker and the exercise tracker.

Personal Information:
I'm a southern girl... born and raised. I call Charlotte, NC home.

I am a lawyer by trade. I also volunteer with local political groups.

I love to read! My favorite genre is romantic suspense (escapist lit at its finest!) Some of my favorite authors are Nora Roberts, Karen Robards, David Baldacci, John Grisham, Sandra Brown, Suzanne Brockmann, Lori Foster, Lora Leigh, Dee Davis, Cindy Gerrard and many MANY more.

I also LOVE to scrapbook and paper craft, especially when I'm making things for others.
