Introduction Text Well! I originally started this journey in July 2007. Since then I have fluctuated from 209 to 225 lbs., gotten my bachelor's in accounting, watched my little one start school, become bilingual, and read all of the Harry Potter books in Spanish (but I'm not bragging), cut my hair, grown it out again, and gotten older. That last one sounds like a no brainer--time passes, we get older--but at some point the effects of age start to show. I used to be 40, and looked 30; now I'm 45, and look 40. My hair is greying at an accelerated rate, pulling a muscle takes longer to heal, and gravity, never my friend (I'm busty), has taken to actively messing with me. Gravity is a Mean Girl disguised as a force of nature. I have done SparkPeople off and on for all of those 5+ years, and I can assure you that I do lose weight when I am "on"--but I tend to let the details bog me down, and I get cranky about having to measure things, and usually by about the 3rd month I quit... only to come back a few months later. One of these times, it will stick; the important thing is to keep focusing on the goal of a healthier me. Focus... focus... focus....

Exercise 5 days a week, at least 20 minutes a day. Week 1 1-4-10--3 times Week 2 1-11-10--
