I am recovering from a couple of injuries which sidelined me at the worst possible time: midlife! Oh, the Big M! That magical time of transition, filled with flashes of inspiration (and perspiration) as well as personal growth (of the abdominal kind.)

But I'm not dead yet! I'm addressing the injuries, building my strength, and I'm determined to see this snail's pace weight loss through to my goal.

My Goals:
Heal my injuries
Build my muscles and stamina
Eat healthfully
Lose 40 pounds

My Program:
 Weight training 4x per week
Walking with hills/stair climbing 20/30 minutes per day
1200-1500 calories per day
80 g protein, good fats only, no refined carbs, veggies galore
8 glasses H20 daily
