I finally decided it is time to be healthy for me! 2020 update! 2019 had success with me meeting my goal! Than, life happened, I'm back up 35 lbs. Injuries and health problems did not help, however, it is all ok because I have learned a lot about myself! 2020 has started out with a blast. I have medical answers to my illness and now adapting to a gluten free diet. With my body healing and my stomach more happy, I do believe 2020 will be a successful year! My goal is to keep managing my health and diet issues, including mind, body, and soul. UPDATE 2019! 2019 HAS BEEN A MAJOR ROLLER COASTER RIDE! highlights of the year so far: concussion and recovery....... done :) post concussion syndrome.... currently in healing process Pool therapy...... rocking it cervical nerve ablation left side.... fully healed and pain free 1 week ago today cervical nerve ablation right side..... no head ache and in 4- 6 weeks full recovery with no pain in head or neck! I have moved into a 2 bedroom apartment and have a fitness/ art room now!!! this year I am now looking at a new me as I wave goodbye to 200 and say hello to onederland! this month marks 6 years with Sparkpeople and I am 3 pounds away from my weight loss goal!!! update: 2018 This month marks 5 years with Sparkpeople! 5 years later, I still continue on my journey for a healthy lifestyle for ME. I am becoming healthier for ME not because society, health professionals and scales tell me I need to. This lifestyle change to become a happier, healthier, slimmer ME, has been an adventure. The adventure has become a journey. My weight loss Journey has had ups, downs, twists, turns, and outright roadblocks. One thing I have learned is never give up! I continue to live a healthy lifestyle! A modified exercise program of core strengthening and walking along with healthy food choices has helped manage my chronic pain and Fibromyalgia. This past week I graduated from a lengthy 4 month therapy program that helped me learn exercises and techniques to manage/ maintain my Balance and mobility. Research and education has taught me new ideas and recipes to keep free from food allergies. My sparkpeople journey has been a wonderful adventure full of education, inspiration, motivation and some great people along the way. I am 70 pounds lighter and Thanks to sparkspeople have maintained my weight for the past 5 years. This year, 2018, I see the finish line of my ultimate weight loss goal. step by step the end is near, first comes 1derland than the finish line a total loss of 100 pounds!!

1. Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day!
2. Drink 8 or more glasses of water a day.
3. Move my body every day!
4. Finding, and celebrating a victory everyday!

My Program:
Even if I have a day when I have an off day with my plan, I track my food intake every day.
Right now, I am trying to be a mindful eater.

Personal Information:
I've been fighting medical challenges for as long as I can remember.
now, I'm exploring and trying different ways to get fit and be healthy.
