Hello! Earlier this year I was given a wonderful opportunity to lose weight and get paid for it at the same time. Unfortunately "LIFE" tooke over and I wasn't able to complete my transformation. I'm happy to say the craziness I went through this summer if finally over, but the golden opportunity is gone. I still want to lose this weight though. I am going to lose this weight either way. I'm just looking for someone to share my journy with.

I'm 34yrs old, work full time and have 3 children...4 if you include my husband :-)

I have hit an all time high weight recently. The only time I weighed more was right before I gave birth....but even that was only about 10 lbs more than I am now!!!

I have spent the last month working out like a crazy person (5-6 hrs per week) and managed to GAIN 5 lbs. I need to look deeper into what I'm putting in m mouth in addition to kicking butt in the gym.

01Aug2009- Starting weight: 234lbs :(
10Aug2009- Started the South Beach Diet and lost 15lbs in the first 2 weeks. :)

30Aug2009- Started the C25K (Couch to 5K) program. In major need of luck. Lost another 5lbs in the last 2 weeks on phase 1 of the SBD

18Nov2009- Finished the C25K a couple weeks ago and will move onto Freeway to 10K as soon as my knee heals. I stopped doing the SBD early in Sept. and have since gained back ~6lbs. Here I am again. Back to the drawing board.

03Dec2009-Started fresh on 01Dec2009 weighing in at a horrific 222.3lbs. But I'm working my butt off at the gym and at home. Starting next week I'm going to include strength training 3X's a week in addition to the 5 days of cardio.

11Dec2009-I'm eating clean now instead of the SBD. See blog on 12/11/2009 for the reasons. But the work out schedule is the same.

01Jan2010-New Year and I'm starting new challenges. Thank Goodness. Somehow I managed to gain 2 additional lbs. Does anyone else GAIN weight before they diet????
