Introduction Text Back on Track- Hi everyone! I am an office worker who has just hit her mid 40's. I have been sitting at a desk for over 11 years now, and my weight is proof of it. I used to be an active skinny person, and would love to get back to a figure I am proud of. A friend told me about Sparkpeople, and I thought what the heck, and joined. I really enjoy all the messageboards, and keeping track of my daily food intake has really helped. Since I live in the mountains, I love to walk, and now have added more cardio to my daily routine. I would love some input on how others have been able to lose their 50 pounds.

My new program is going to be: Walk my dogs 5 days Turbo jam 3 days Bike ride 3 days Hike whenever possible!

I was born and raised a California girl, but have been living in Washington since 1981. I have a great husband and two wonderful kids that are both 19. My American Bulldog Dozer is my buddy, and I have a new addition to the family Stella, who is a pit bull and lab mix. I love the outdoors, whether it be hiking, fishing, camping, hanging at the river, or just vegging in my backyard.

I am a scary movie buff, and love Stephen King books.
