“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it. Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing. People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful." -Michael Josephson Hi! Thank you for commenting on my blog "No Weigh In" A Non-Scale Victory Instead!" Well I am really bad! Just came back after being away since my brief time in March. So much has happened--just closed coffee shop due to "excessive" robberies both external and internal and trying to get farm back on track after a crop that is 80% below past years.
I am sure I drive my three step children crazy with my constant emails about the farm. Their father (aka my husband) is Guatemalan, but their mother was from Montana. They have all visited occasionally, but have trouble following attachments I send them in Spanish.
But as I tell them, I need someone to "talk" to. So I will do a little of that with you. Just do what the King of Spain did to Hugo Chavez and tell me to shut up if I take up too much room.
So here goes. Farm is not high altitude, which has traditionally been the measure of quality. I want to move beyond that paradim and have done so a little with one variety of coffee, Maragogype. The bean is four time larger than regular coffee and has an incredible aroma. Got some pretty good press coverage there for a while. However, it is not that productive. What I am replanting is Pacamara, another large bean which has a really good cup. My philosophy is have something different.
Well, you are lucky. A similar note to the "steps" ended up being three pages.
By the way, you are incredibly inspirational and that is why I am here as well! And I love you hair. Will copy it next time I come into the city for a shearing.
