Introduction Text ☼ Who am I? Well, I'm another face, another body, another hope personified. I'm friendly, yet not quite as out-going as some may think. I love photography, although still quite amateur, and my preference is black & white but will throw in a few color photos on occasion. It allows me to escape through a lens, to see the world around me differently, and to relax above all. ☼ I also love and need my music. I prefer alternative rock, metal, epic metal and symphonic power metal and in between when I need something a little more relaxing, I'll add Celtic. Music is my journey. It's my escape. It's my punching bag. It's my therapist. It's an audible hug. It's my best friend when one isn't available. ☼ I love traveling, especially across the southwest U.S. Only five states appeal to me most: Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. The scenery in these states is beyond amazing. If I were able, I'd travel across these states every day just taking photos... ☼ I love to talk, and to listen. I love to learn what makes a person tick. I dislike arrogance and selfishness. I believe in putting my family and others before myself in most cases. But there are those times when I just need to focus on ME. Which is why I am here. ☼ I've done this weight loss trek twice before. I succeeded, but then back-tracked badly. Once again I find myself at the bottom of a tall mountain to climb. But that is okay. I am prepared to take that journey once more, with the hope and determination to stay at the top and better myself once and for all. ☼ Life gets shorter with each passing day. In his vision, Iktomi, the great trickster and teacher of wisdom, appeared in the form of a spider. Iktomi spoke to him in a sacred language. As he spoke, Iktomi the spider picked up the elder's willow hoop which had feathers,horsehair, beads and offerings on it, and began to spin a web. He spoke to the elder about the cycles of life; how we begin our lives as infants, move on through childhood and on to adulthood. Finally we go to old age where we must be taken care of as infants, completing the cycle. "But", Iktomi said as he continued to spin his web, "in each time of life there are many forces; some good and some bad. If you listen to the good forces, they will steer you in the right direction. But, if you listen to the bad forces, they'll steer you in the wrong direction and may hurt you. So these forces can help, or can interfere with the harmony of Nature." While the spider spoke, he continued to weave his web. When Iktomi finished speaking, he gave the elder the web and said, "The web is a perfect circle with a hole in the center. Use the web to help your people reach their goals, making good use of their ideas, dreams and visions. If you believe in the great spirit, the web will catch your good ideas and the bad ones will go through the hole." The elder passed on his vision to the people and now many Indian people hang a dream catcher above their bed to sift their dreams and visions. The good is captured in the web of life and carried with the people, but the evil in their dreams drops through the hole in the center of the web and is no longer a part of their lives. It's said that the dream catcher holds the destiny of the future. ***************************************

► To be healthy, to look better, to feel better and to increase my level of self-confidence when out in public. ► When I am out of the 200's, my reward is to get my hair done and the grey hidden!! I don't want to look older than I am anymore. I'm STILL a kid at heart, and I want to feel AND look it :)

► Getting in those 8+ cups of water, avoiding fatty foods and sugar, eating healthier and making better choices in and out of the kitchen.

► I live in west Las Vegas, NV, in the Summerlin area. ► I love to go to the movies, especially for action, thrillers and dramas. I also enjoy reading novels about murder/mystery. ► I'm fascinated by Celtic, Native American and Norse lore, and especially photos or paintings relating to the above. So expect the occasional profile image changes pertaining to these lol.

I enjoy watching Star Trek, NCIS, Dexter, Survivor, Top Chef and Make Me A Supermodel. I also like the Discovery, SciFi, Food Network, NatGeo and History channels.
