Embracing middle life. 2nd grandchild due in May and also a son's wedding. Time to get in gear and get in shape. Would love to lose all 35 pounds in time by May 2014, moving from obese through overweight and all the way to healthy weight! W00T!

Lost the voracious appetite I used to have. Probably because I've been busy and doing different things in life than I used to. I guess it's the same as a lifestyle change, since the changes in daily activities also changed eating habits. Eating the same breakfast, but not a specific lunch, and half the dinner I used to eat. If I'm hungry I'll have a banana with glass of milk. Sum total: eating a lot less. Not hungry though, so all good. :) A couple of bites and really I'm all set, but I do make myself eat more than that. I walk through the grocery store and honest to God don't crave a single thing. Feels good.
Appetite still down. Hardly bothering with suppers. My recipe file getting dusty. My work shifts are usually during dinnertime anyways. Halfway to goal! Yay!

I grew up in Massachusetts, but have lived outside of Portland, Maine for some 20 years now.
Long-time member of Christ Chapel in Raymond, leading worship every couple of weeks.

Married 30 years to my high school sweetheart. He's still my sweetheart. :)

4 grown children (1 daughter, 3 sons).
Youngest son is in college.
