My Goals:
I'd like to have more energy and a flatter abdomen.

My Program:
 My plan is to exercise in some way every day and watch my eating, especially in the evening, and find healthier foods.


Personal Information:
I live in west Akron, Ohio. I taught English and German in a high school near here, but quit before I had my two sons, who are 41 and 35. I spent quite a bit of time volunteering at their schools. Now my volunteer hours are given to the church. Several years ago I hopped into the job market for a couple years and worked in the office at Dillard's. It was fun while it lasted.

Other Information:
 Laughter is good medicine.

    Thank you all for your prayers. Everything went well and I'm home, heading for a nap! Bless you.
    Update: If you call snoozing for 6 hours a nap, well, Rip van Winkle and I have something in common. I tried watching DVRs of church programs, but would awaken to Paula Deen making stuffed crown roast of pork! I was out of it. My right eye was still totally dilated, but it caused me to see pretty, sparkling auras around the Christmas tree lights. I enjoyed that.
    This morning the clarity (although somewhat dilated still) with my distance vision is excellent. I may not have to wear my glasses to drive to the follow-up visit.
    Note: I did not come home with my eye patched. Apparently, it is unnecessary to do that anymore. But they still send you home with those awful blinders aka sunglasses that scream "I just had cataract surgery! What did you do with your day?"
